Literature Text

In her teenage years, my sister wore "boy" clothes. She said she hated make-up, hated dresses, and hated anything else that was considered "girly". She played videogames, listened to "guy" music, among many other things. She also claimed to be bisexual. She'd date guys, and flirt with girls.

Then once her teenage years passed, she "changed". She started wearing skirts and dresses, wore make-up, and started being more "girly". She then admitted that she was straight, not bisexual, and was only saying she was bi for attention.

To her, acting and looking "guy" like, and pretending to be bisexual, was a game. Something she did because that was considered "cool", and "different".

I'm different than my sister.

Here, in my teenage years, I wear "boy" clothes. I hate make-up, hate dresses, and usually dislike things that are generally considered "girly". I play videogames, listen mostly to music considered "for guys", among other things. I am also bisexual. I can truly love others of either gender.

Once my teenage years pass, I will not change. I will not suddenly start wearing dresses and skirts, like make-up, and start being more "girly".

To me, acting and looking like a "guy" and being bisexual is not some kind of game. I do not act this way, do not feel this way, because it's "cool" or "different".

I am this way because that is just the way I am.
This is something people really don't seem to understand...

"Your sister grew out of it, so you will too."
"Oh, it's just a phase. You'll change, just like your sister."

*sigh*

I don't have siblings, but my mom and stepfather still insist that I mean not trans just because I was girly when I was little.

NOT. ALL. TRANS. PEOPLE. KNOW. AT. A. YOUNG. AGE.

Also me being feminine has NOTHING to do with my gender!

I'm still a boy, mom. I'm your son, whether you like it or not.

Stepfather, I'm more of a man than you'll ever be, you abusive piece of shit.
